Traveling to Big Sky

The closest airport to Big Sky is Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN), located in Belgrade, Montana—about one hour north of Big Sky. The drive is beautiful and winds along the Gallatin River through mountain canyons, but it’s important to plan ahead for transportation.

If you prefer not to drive, private shuttle services such as Karst Stage, Big Sky Shuttle and Blacklane offer pre-arranged transfers between the airport and Big Sky. These services must be booked in advance and are generally scheduled around flight arrivals. Dvora can arrange for you or you can feel free to reserve on your own as well.

Once in Big Sky, note that the area is spread out between Moonlight Basin, Mountain Village, and Meadow Village (home to most shops and grocery stores). Having your own vehicle will make getting around much easier throughout the weekend.
